- Sun, Apr 13St. John's Episcopal ChurchJoin us for the start of Holy Week with Palm Sunday worship on Sunday, April 13. We'll have a palm procession and Holy Eucharist in a simple form at the 8:30am liturgy and then in a grand form at the 10:45am liturgy.
- Thu, Apr 17St. John's Episcopal ChurchMaundy Thursday is the night in Holy Week which marks the beginning of the Triduum—the Three Great Days. We gather for a shared Mediterranean meal at 6pm and then for a bilingual Eucharist with Footwashing and the Stripping of the Altar at 7pm.
- Fri, Apr 18St. John's Episcopal ChurchThere are two opportunities for worship on Good Friday, April 18. We have Morning Prayer & Communion from the Reserved Sacrament at 8:30am, and then the Proper Liturgy of the Day at Noon.
- Sat, Apr 19St. John's Episcopal ChurchEach year Easter “comes about” at the Great Vigil—an ancient liturgy that begins Memorial Garden at sunset to make New Fire, and then moves into the church as we participate in a series of readings and prayers leading to the celebration of the first mass of Easter.
- Sun, Apr 20Grand HavenJoin us as we begin Easter Sunday on Sunday, April 20. We'll have a festival service of Holy Eucharist in English at 8:30am and 10am and in Spanish at Noon. Like all our worship, the service at 10am will also be live-streamed on our parish YouTube channel at http://youtube.com/SJEGrandHaven

Choirs from SJE and First Presbyterian will be joined by professional singers who will lead us through this beloved music—and you're even invited to sing along to some of the choruses!

- Thu, May 29Grand HavenEach year, forty days after Easter, we gather to celebrate the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ. At SJE, we will celebrate this principal feast of the church with a Solemn Choral Eucharist—meaning one that is sung with a professional schola of singers and incense—on Thursday, May 29, at 6pm.
- Sun, Jun 08St. John's Episcopal ChurchJoin us on the Fiftieth Day of Easter as we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost! We will have a solemn (sung with incense) service of Holy Eucharist at 10:45am, complete with incense and a multilingual reading of the Pentecost narrative. The 8:30am liturgy will feature Holy Eucharist with Harpsichord.
- Mon, Jun 09Grand HavenJoin Father Cramer on Monday, June 9, at 5:30pm for the first book in our Rector's Summer Book Club. We'll be reading "The Widening of God's Mercy: Sexuality within the Biblical Story," by one of the leading New Testament Scholars, Richard Hays, who articulates his change of mind on these questions.

And we are particularly grateful that the festival leaders are inviting us to offer our annual Community Pride Worship Service at 10am on Saturday, June 14, 2025, before the festival kicks off at noon.
- Thu, Jun 19Grand HavenJoin us on Thursday, June 19, as we celebrate Corpus Christi with a service of Solemn Evensong and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. A small schola sings the Evensong settings and then, in the devotion of Benediction, we receive Christ's blessing in the blessed sacrament.
